Meeting Notes Pictograph
Twenty-two community members attended the Idaho Falls community conversation at the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership. Individual community members valued the need for better community input on research priority setting and study design, but they wanted to make sure that community voices did not drown out the scientific credibility of the research. Individuals emphasized that each element of the framework visual should be implemented with purpose, and that partnering with trusted community voices would be a critical pathway to overcoming skepticism and distrust in science and the federal government.
